United Way of Mason County ended its 2016/2017 fiscal year reaching 96.65% of it $350,00.00 campaign goal. Pledges totaled $338,286.32.
“Although we did not reach our goal, the generosity of the Mason County community is amazing to us,” stated Adam and Christine Lamb, United Way of Mason County’s Campaign Co-Chairs.
“It has been both a privilege and honor to serve as Campaign Co-Chairs. Mason County has been good to us and this was one way to be able to give back to the community. It has also been a great opportunity to begin showing our children the importance of volunteering,” the Lambs added.
“As a result of the Lambs’ leadership, we were able to cultivate new workplace campaigns such as, Mason County Sheriff Department, Quick Way and Safe Harbor Credit Union. In addition, we saw an increase in employee giving through existing workplace campaigns,” stated Lynne Russell, Executive Director.
